There is a possibility that a CUNY school will be able to give you the necessary skills you need in order to become a nurse. Do you want to become a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Bronx, NY? Nursing students who have to graduate from CUNY colleges need to be prepared to go through so many processes before they can obtain degrees. Becoming a nurse in the Bronx is possible but you will have to work very hard before you can graduate from Bronx Community College (BCC) or Hostos Community College. LaGuardia Community College is part of the City University of New York and offers nursing as one of its programs.

• Becoming a nurse in the Bronx is very easy and you should not be scared if you live in this city. Currently, Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) has a very competitive nursing program as compared to the one which is offered at BCC. So, if you decide to pick a community college to enroll at so that you can obtain an ADN, then select BCC over BMCC.
• Be prepared to handle courses like chemistry, pharmacology and biology if you want to become a nursing in the Bronx. The only course which will give you problems when aiming to graduate from BCC with a college degree is biology even though it’s passable. It will not be easy for you!
